The tag was created for authors by Lorraine Ambers and Ari Meghlen as a fun way to connect with other writers, and help us all get to know each other better.
I’m participating in this tag thanks to the wonderful S.E. White who writes for eXtasybooks. I really recommend checking out S.E.’s blog too: S.E. White’s Blog LINK

Name one novel that inspired you to write.
It’s so hard to name only one. I’ve read voraciously since my childhood, and books inspired me to write. I will say that two paranormal series – The Hallows from Kim Harrison and Laurell K Hamilton’s Anita Blake Vampire Hunter – were particularly inspiring.
What’s your favorite genre to write and read?
MM Romance, particularly with a twist – suspense or something else that makes it different.
Do you prefer to write stand-alone or series?
Both. I mostly have stand-alone books, but I do have series also – Holeshot and Universe in particular and more coming soon! I like the stand-alone because done is done. But…if I love something I want to keep writing, so I tend to leave openings to revisit anyway. We’ll see more series from me…

Use 3 words to describe yourself:
Crazy. Determined. Optimistic.

Great place to release a cover… woot… I DREW my soulmate is about a tattoo artist who meets his soulmate…who happens to be a bad ass dom.
This is the basic cover mock-up from Jay Aheer and Simply Defined Art. We haven’t added my name yet. (Coming Soon)

How long did your first MS take to draft?
Actually, only a few weeks. I was gifted with some time to write full time, and I knocked out the first Universe book, Elementals, quickly. That was followed by Holeshot, Wanton, and Lines on the Mirror. They were all written in just two months. It’s been a lot slower since I had to move back to writing part time.
Who is your author idol?
Stephen King. Hands down. His stories flow masterfully. I always aspire to that quality. Maybe one day I’ll reach it.
Share a writing memory that made you determined to carry on.
Attending this year’s GRL. So many people knew who I was. They knew Holeshot. I felt very warm and fuzzy inside. It was surreal that people wanted me to sign stuff for them!
Tell us something surprising or unique about yourself.
I’m a sci-fi nerd. I collect Boba Fett merchandise.
Share the hardest part about being a writer and how you overcame it.
The hardest part is probably keeping myself motivated. Authors work in solitude most of the time. I have to be constantly inspired and in love with the story. I don’t know how to overcome it, except to keep going…Remember my three words? Crazy. Determined. Optimistic.
What’s your favorite social media and why? Share your link.
It’s really become my Facebook Reader group. The people in there make it wonderful.
