Caveat to “What I’m Reading”

Just a quick addition to my earlier post. I just received the fourth and final book in Tad Williams’ “Otherland” series. It is an older series and took me awhile to get my hands on this last installment. I got it at www.half.com great site for getting older stuff really cheap!

This series is really a good and interesting look at where our technology might lead, and based on the health care changes and other political and economic crisis we’ve been having lately, it is once again “timely,” not to mention a good read! Highly recommended!

So…. what are YOU reading?

  1. I am re-reading the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop. It is one of my absolute favorites! =)

    • not familiar with that one… I’ll add it to my list!

      • Just as a warning…it has some pretty dark themes…but she is such a fantastic author, you get so immersed in the world and the story. Still, some of the subject matter may be a turn off for some, so I wanted to give you a heads up, in case you do read it. =P

      • Good point Sandi. Some of this does get dark, particularly in this collection. So, warning for younger readers also. Don’t share this with your kids – not appropriate. I think 17 and up only. I grew up with this kind of thing. I was reading Stephen King when I was 13. I didn’t care much for the Scarlet Letter, but I was totally into the sleek red paint job that Christine had! So, readers should keep that in mind!

I am reading “The Lavender and the Rose” by Michael Graeme. It’s about finding yourself, finding love, finding where you belong, and finding peace within yourself.

It was rather interesting for me to read that blog. Thanx for it. I like such topics and anything connected to them. I would like to read more on that site soon.
