Here’s eXtasybooks author Lynn Michaels with a Frostbite Christmas.
Guard your heart, or Jack Frost will freeze it.
Jack Frost is all about the freezing cold, and he not only wants to freeze the earth, but he also wants to freeze people’s hearts. When he sees two lovers kissing under the mistletoe, he vows to split them up. Teddy and his husband, Kirk, are still in love. Will they let a little frost come between them?
Lynn Michaels lives and writes in Tampa, Florida where the sun is hot and the Sangria is cold. When she’s not writing she’s kayaking, hanging with her husband, or reading by the pool. Lynn writes Male/Male romance because she believes everyone deserves a happy ending and the dynamics of male characters can be intriguing, vulnerable, and exciting. She has both contemporary and paranormal titles and has been writing since 2014. Her stories don’t follow any set guidelines or ideas, but come from her heart and contain love in many forms.
Jack watched the two lovers kissing. It angered him. There he was slinging around a bit of wintry wonderland in a place that so desperately needed to chill out, and there they were heating it back up.
He reached out a hand and dipped some frost on the eaves above them. He took a breath and blew it out, directing it right at them. The cold didn’t deter them. The bigger one only pulled the smaller one in tighter.
That wouldn’t do.
Jack’s frigid heart seized a little. He wanted to see the lovers cold inside—wanted to freeze their hearts. He needed to do something about this. He stepped closer, examining them. He couldn’t find anything special there. How could they ignore the cold as if it didn’t bother them at all? They made it insignificant. Unimportant.
Curly brown hair fell along the edges of the taller one’s plain face. The shorter one wore his slightly darker hair straight and pushed back from his forehead. His face relaxed into pure bliss as the couple kissed. Jack wanted to freeze it that way.
He vowed to split this couple up. “Their love is meant to be destroyed.” He should forget this southern hell-scape and head north up to the mountains where he could roam the country. But he stayed. He could not let this go. Unreasonable. Irrational. The need to freeze their hearts moved through his blood like a glacier—imposingly large and desperate.

I’m sitting here writing this post and it is raining super hard. We’re in the middle of Storm Diana, which my son finds hilarious because my real name is Diane. LOL.
I would love the rain to turn to snow. I love the snow, the beauty of it, the feel of it, standing in softly falling snow, the rolling hills of my county all white…
Only, when England gets snow we’re not setup to handle it. We only need to get a quarter of an inch and the country is at a standstill. First we have the issue of not really having a lot of snow experience. So it’s an exciting thing to happen. Then we don’t have snow ploughs readily at hand, or solid infrastructure set up for snow. Schools close, railways stop running, airports are shut down. It’s all incredibly dramatic, and all for a tiny bit of snow.
Do you have snow where you are right now? A random commenter will win a $10 Amazon gift card (or equivalent in your currency).

She writes the Accidental Roots series, set in the Pacific Northwest featuring hot mm romance and the guarantee of a happy ending for her men. Elle started writing way back when but only began publishing about two years ago and now has seven (almost eight) books out. Each features a couple in her little universe, sometimes there is added mystery and suspense. Currently, she’s working on the ninth in the series as well as a mm paranormal romance. M. Jane Colette has a steamy (very steamy) rom-com releasing just in time for the holidays! To celebrate, she’s sharing with us a short video, your choice of an NSFW (so dirty) or Cleanish (it is M. Jane Colette, so it’s as clean as she could manage–it was hard) excerpt, and a chance to win a PRINT copy of Text Me, Cupid. Check it out:
Text Me, Cupid a (slightly) dirty love story for 21st century adults who don’t believe in true love… but want it anyway by M. Jane Colette Genres: contemporary romance, romantic comedy, steamy (occasionally filthy)
HOLIDAY STRESS HAS NEVER BEEN THIS HOT
MEET FLORENCE: I’ve done this before, looking for a partner or soul mate or someone-to-grow-to-love, and you know what? I’m done with that. Honestly. I’m just looking for some casual sex. All I’m interested in is a one-night stand, or several—not all of them with you. Just making it clear that I’m interested in playing with multiple partners. I don’t want to get attached and I don’t want you to get attached.
MEET WILL: I’m reeling from a recent divorce and incapable of having a meaningful relationship, possibly even a meaningful conversation. The only upside to my situation is that after fifteen years of monogamy I get to chase all the strange I want.
He’s freshly divorced and in denial. She’s twice-burnt and prickly. They’re a terrible idea. They know this. But every time their eyes meet, their clothes come off. Still—they’re not going to fall in love. They are not.
Not even if this one night stand has 365 days.
WANT A TASTE?
Here’s M. Jane Colette reading a semi-steamy (but still safe for YouTube and Facebook) excerpt from Text Me, Cupid:
M. Jane Colette writes tragedy for those who like to laugh, comedy for the melancholy, and erotica for people who like their fantasies real. She believes rules and hearts were made to be broken; ditto the constraints of genres. Her novels include Tell Me, Consequences (of defensive adultery), and the award-winning rom-com Cherry Pie Cure.
“I couldn’t stop reading this! The waiting, the need, the want, the desire… the story is a rollercoaster and I love it. Will and Florence are so vivid on the page, I was in agony with them from the start.” Alyssa Linn Palmer, author of Midnight at the Orpheus and Le Chat Rouge series
“No one does angst, family drama, hilarity, joy and eroticism better than M. Jane Colette!” DIANA SOBOLEWSKI, author of The Desire & Luxury Wine Series, (on Messy Christmas, Episode 1 of Text Me, Cupid)
“Text Me, Cupid was the first story I’d read by M. Jane Colette, and I love her fresh, taut style. Every word, every sentence counts. It’s smart and sexy. I can’t wait to read the rest!” Michelle Orloff, GoodReads + Amazon.com ARC Review of Delayed Valentine, Episode 2 of Text Me, Cupid
“M. Jane Colette writes complicated relationship dynamics into story lines that keep you off balance but leave you smiling in the end.” Amazon.ca Verified Purchase Review, Delayed Valentine, Episode 2 of Text Me, Cupid
“She spotlights those less than perfect relationships; often the source of hilarity in this author’s work. M. Jane Colette has a unique writing style. At least it’s unique to me. She believes in short sentences and sparse dialogue. Don’t worry, you will not be short changed in any respect. You’ll visualize and experience everything you’re meant to, including the angst, the joy, the funny bits and all of the eroticism. This author doesn’t succeed despite her minimalist approach. She succeeds because of it. M. Jane Colette has mastered doing more with less.” Amazon.ca Verified Purchase Review, (on Messy Christmas, Episode 1 of Text Me, Cupid)
“M. Jane Colette knows how to write characters.” Caught Between The Pages (on Consequences)
“I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a sexy, intelligent, complicated, and fascinating read about relationships that are as complex and difficult and wonderful and confusing as most relationships usually are.” Grey Matter (on Tell Me)
“This book is a cure for divorce, depression, loneliness, boredom, you name it. Laugh-out-loud funny from the first page!” Holly Owen, Alberta Romance Writers’ Association (on Cherry Pie Cure)
“Warning: You may breakout in spontaneous laughter, develop cravings for baked goods and become a life-long devotee of the author!” Carrie Austin Reviews (on Cherry Pie Cure)

Hi everyone, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sean Kerr, and I am a 49-year-old gay man living in Cardiff, Wales with my husband of 28 years, Derek. We have two cats, Rita and Harry, and a host of tropical fish.
I worked on building sites for years, and I used the money earned from that to put myself through college, specialist paint techniques etc. I trained in fine art, and then I went out and painted murals on client’s walls, and created Roman Bathrooms and fantasy hand painted bedrooms, all the rage back in the late eighties and nineties. I then became an Interior Designer for a large DIY chain. For the past thirteen years I ran my own Interiors business, and while that is no longer in existence, I am now looking for my next challenge in life!
By night I am an Author, and I am very proud to be an author for Extasy Books. It took me some years to get to this point. I spent a very long time trying to get an agent because I thought it was the right thing to do, and after a heck of a lot of refusals, I nearly gave up. I came so close to hitting the delete button on Dead Camp 1 because I thought I did not stand a chance. At the very last moment, I decided to have a go at approaching a few publishers directly, and I sent the manuscript to six. Within two weeks, I had offers of publication from three! Let’s just say that there may have been tears lol. It was my chance, at last, to become a part of a world that I have always loved and admired from a distance, and it is one of the very best things to ever happened to me.
Dead Camp is the first series I ever wrote, and then there is my short novella called Hush Little Baby. Dead Camp is my take on the Vampire genre, an MM Paranormal Romance series that is set against a backdrop of World War 2.However, the series uses key moments from History to tell one enormous saga, and I have loved every single moment of writing it. There are five books in the Dead Camp series.
Hush is a pure horror story with more than a nod towards such classic programs as The Twilight Zone and Tales of The Unexpected. The project happened just after I completed Dead Camp 3 and it is a story that I had to get out of my system. It’s definitely a different beast to my Vampire saga, and I hope it will make you go to bed with the lights on lol!
I recently ventured into the world of self-publishing, and as such, I have just released my first independent book series, The Last Child. The Last Child is a horror series that is in 3 parts dealing with the occult. It has a definite Dan Brown vibe in that I love conspiracy stories, so I have used religion and some intriguing legends as the backdrop to this contemporary supernatural thriller that tells the story of a female protagonist trying to protect her young student. Neither of them realizes how their lives, and indeed their histories, are intertwined in the most horrific and tragic ways.
My latest book, ‘The Man Inside Me’ is an MM Victorian Gothic Romance, and I think it is the favorite thing I have written so far. It deals with two men in their fifties trying to find love again, a subject that is very close to my heart as I approach that milestone. It is a very important book to me, and while it has some very ‘KERR’ twists and turns, it is, at its heart, a very romantic tale that deals with middle age. I am particularly proud of this book, and it is a very different spin on the MM genre.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to meeting you on social media.
Today we have Nicky James with The Christmas I know.
Andrew Walker has memories of what Christmas is supposed to be like. Having lived so many years without a family to share the holidays with, he’s determined to rebuild traditions with his fiancé, Val. However, Val’s ideal Christmas doesn’t align with Andrew’s. Not only do the men come from two different worlds, but they live thousands of miles apart. During a disastrous trip to Toronto to visit Val for the holidays, Andrew meets Xavier, a caring and thoughtful man who only wants to help Andrew out of a bad situation and get him where he’s supposed to be for Christmas.
Xavier grew up in a loving home filled with a holiday spirit that reminds Andrew of his childhood. Reflecting on life and love, Andrew realizes how mismatched he and Val truly are and wonders if this is the life he’s destined to live.
Perhaps being alone is better than settling for someone who doesn’t make him happy.
Except, no one should be alone at Christmas, so when Xavier finds out Andrew’s plan to travel home alone after ending his relationship with Val, he has a different agenda.
Maybe it’s time Andrew gets a taste of the Christmas he knows in his heart.
The Christmas I Know was written to be a breath of fresh air and a step away from my usual angsty stories. Growing up in a huge family, Christmas was always a time of year for traditions. They didn’t always involve extravagant gifts but were filled with little family-made fun times that I will never forget. They are the kinds of things that I carried on with my own family, and ones I hope will be taken to the next generation too.
In this story, Andrew has all kinds of
memories of Christmas, including Christmas tree cutting, stringing popcorn,
watching traditional movies, baking cookies, and listening to carols. However,
it’s been a long time since he’s had anyone to share it with. His current
fiancé doesn’t see what all the fuss is about.
While taking this writing journey, I brought my own Christmas traditions to life again, living them through Andrew and Xavier. Not everyone celebrates the same way—and there is nothing wrong with that—but finding that special someone who can enjoy the Christmas YOU know always makes life that much better.
Azariah Bell is a nervous wreck. He isn’t prepared to spend the final week of the year with his best friend, Ky O’Sullivan, lead vocalist for their pop rock band, Moving Insignia—especially after the fight he caused before they parted ways two weeks ago.
Afraid of not being taken seriously by Ky, Azariah was concerned about what confessing his feelings would do to their friendship, or the band. He tried to keep his emotions in check, but instead, he exploded in anger over some petty issue, and now he’s potentially lost Ky forever.
Ky is looking forward to the band’s annual writing retreat for a week of songwriting and recording at a secluded mountain resort. Spending Christmas with his family gave Ky time to reflect on how he’d handled Azariah’s epic meltdown. It wasn’t good, and Ky is determined to uncover the true nature of Azariah’s unusual behavior. They didn’t keep secrets from each other, or so he believed.
Expecting to see the rest of the band when they arrive by helicopter, Ky and Azariah are shocked to learn they are alone at a deserted lodge. When they discover they’ve been set up by their bandmates so they can “sort it out,” their choices are few. But it’s critical for them to resolve their problems if they have any hope of enjoying the new year together, let alone make that new album happen.

How and When did you start writing?Back in 2009 my closest internet friend and I started writing (MM) fan fiction. Over the course of three years we’ve collected nearly three hundred drabbles and short stories as well as a few novellas, most of them starring our favorite Japanese pop band. When I discovered the fantastic MM romance community, and all the original fiction focusing on LGBTQ+, I was in awe. It was like finding a piece of your life you didn’t know was missing. I took a break from writing but eventually went back to it, only this time I’m creating my own characters.
What’s your favorite theme or genre to write and why?I love sweet romances. Friends discovering their feelings for each other. Second chances at love. Reuniting with a friend or lover after years apart. I like to escape in a world where such things are possible, where love conquers all. I’ve never experienced the kind of romance I dream of so I enjoy exploring these situations and feelings in my writing.
What kind of research did you do for your current book?Paradise Lodge didn’t require a lot of research actually. With Ky being a Leo and Azariah Scorpio. I did some more character traits digging, but since I’m Leo myself and a lot of my friends are Scorpio, I had a pretty clear idea of how the two of them would work out their issues. Finding the location I had in mind was pretty easy as well. Paradise Lodge is based on an actual mountain lodge in Oregon. The story came together quite fast!
If you were going on a road trip, which of your own characters would you take with you and why?Ky would be fun to have around! We’d get along well, I think. We’re both leo but he’s the fun kind, heh. He also has a beautiful voice and I’d love to listen to him sing along to their band’s music. I love road trips and I’m sure he does too!
Do you snack while writing? If so, what do you munch on? Snacks are a must! Recently it’s been Golden Oreos! You can’t do anything wrong with cookies or MM’s.
What rituals do you have when you write? I don’t have any rituals. I write in between getting other things done, take notes on my phone when I have an idea or some random dialogue pops into my head while I’m taking my dog on a walk. I’ve never thrived on having a routine for anything.
Coffee, tea, or soda?Coffee. I usually start my day with a Latte Macchiato or Cappuccino.
What’s your next project?Having so many characters on my mind makes it difficult for me to decide whose story is the most ‘interesting’, so I’m working on a handful of project at the same time. I have a couple of Young Adult ideas and another sweet, friends/lovers reuniting story I’m working on. Then there is one college themed and another with paranormal touches. I also want to tackle something that will ask for a lot of research! Perhaps one day I’ll write that ‘vampire assassin’ story I can’t get out of my head.
What inspired you to write your current story?Ky has been on my mind for a couple years now, I’ve wanted to give him a story for so long. I listen to a lot of British pop, especially boy bands. It puts me in a good mood. When I was brainstorming possible scenarios for a New Years Eve gone wrong, I wondered what would happen if the party Ky and his bandmates had planned didn’t go as expected. It felt like the right time to spend some time with him!
What would be your dream vacation?I’ve always wanted to go to the Caribbean. Rent a custom build pirate ship (a Spanish galleon replica) and stay at a private Island for a few weeks, or months. I wouldn’t mind to actually live that way! =D

Do you believe in Christmas miracles? Love at first sight? How about getting hit with Cupid’s arrow? Can it happen to you?
Ami is a cupid, behind on his quota. Bringing love to lonely humans is a satisfying career, until he starts to recognize just how lonely he is. It is Christmas time and he can no longer bring himself to do his job.
Paul is an up and coming musician with a happy soul. He has raw talent and the support of family and friends. Success is his for the taking. It’s Christmas time and life is good. Then a stranger comes into his life, and they are a match made in heaven, until Ami just disappears…
Will love bring a Christmas miracle when Ami, the failing cupid, meets Paul, the aspiring musician?
Excerpt ahead and it’s Hot… NSFW!
Ami didn’t have any more experience with fellatio than he did with actual sex. Ami hadn’t ever had much need to be with someone. As a cupid, his job was to make people fall in love, not worry over the sex. He’d never really even thought about it. In the heavenly realm, he knew other gods and goddesses got together, but as immortals, they couldn’t hold each other’s attention long. Ami didn’t think love could exist for them, so he never bothered with it. The few experiences he’d had were quick and unfulfilling, so he hadn’t realized sex and love were so entwined. As he licked and sucked Paul’s cock, he decided it didn’t matter. He wanted to bring pleasure to his wonderful mortal for however long it lasted.
“Is this right?” he asked.
“Right? Oh Ami…nothing you do could possibly be wrong.”
“Mmm…good to know.” Ami wrapped his fingers around the base of Paul’s cock and used his mouth and tongue in conjunction with jacking him off until Paul was gasping and exploding into Ami’s mouth.
He instinctively swallowed after a moment of thinking he was going to gag. The taste was bitter and salty and sour all wrapped up together. Ambrosia.
“Your turn Ami. Come here.”
“What? No, uh…you don’t have to.”
Paul practically growled as he jumped up and tackled Ami, pushing him down and covering Ami’s body with his own. “If you don’t think I want to, you’re crazy. I’ve wanted to get my mouth on you since I opened my eyes and saw you watching me play.”
“Was that just yesterday?”
“Mmm…”
Paul didn’t say anything else after that. He lowered himself between Ami’s legs and sucked him into his mouth, to the back of his throat, and hummed around Ami’s cock. He thought he’d gone to Hedone’s manor—the tales he’d heard of ultimate pleasure. His imagination didn’t hold up to this pleasure of Paul’s wet mouth sucking and swallowing and teasing him. His soft tongue rubbed across the head of his dick, soft yet firm, and sent the most delicious tingling through his groin and fluttering up into his heart.
More and more, sucking and pleasure until Ami thought he would lose his mind, and then his entire body shook convulsively and stars blinded him as he exploded into Paul’s mouth. The physical pleasure was intense and satisfying and nothing at all compared to how Paul took all of him, all of his seed, into him, swallowing with the look of bliss on his face. It was as if Paul needed Ami’s come like a lifesaving medicine.
Ami didn’t stop trembling until Paul had him wrapped in his arms again and his lips pressed against Ami’s. Paul kissed him softly and ran hands through his messed hair. Nothing else existed in the universe except Paul.

All I Want Is You is a friends to lovers, second-chance romance with an HEA. It’s approximately 50,000 words in length.
DJ Jamison is the author of about twenty m/m romances, including the Hearts and Health series. She writes a variety of queer characters, from gay to bisexual to asexual, with a focus on telling love stories that are more about common ground than lust at first sight. DJ grew up in the Midwest in a working-class family, and those influences can be found in her writing through characters coping with real-life problems: money troubles, workplace drama, family conflicts and, of course, falling in love. DJ spent more than a decade in the newspaper industry before chasing her first dream to write fiction. She spent a lifetime reading before that, and she continues to avidly devour her fellow authors’ books each night. She lives in Kansas with her husband, two sons, two fish, one snake, and a sadistic cat named Birdie.
